The idea of Magnolia Market began a long time ago.  As a little girl I would make corsages with flowers I picked from our yard and scotch tape.  I was the girl who would pick the hydrangeas from our neighbor's yard and then put them in a vase on our kitchen table. Sometimes with the permission of our sweet neighbor, sometimes not, I just couldn't resist.  I have always loved flowers, planting them, buying them and especially receiving them!

Fast forward 25 years or so, a job in radio, then television reporting behind me, and you have Magnolia Market.  I wanted to bring something different to my hometown of Cape Girardeau and do something totally different than my jobs in the media.  In January of 2006 I opened Magnolia Market.  

Magnolia Market arrangements stand out from the others!  I like to let the natural beauty of flowers be the focus of each arrangement.  To give them a little twist, I sometimes use fresh sliced fruit in the vase water to add that extra pop of color.  

Magnolia Market also offers chocolate dipped fruit, the perfect complement to our flowers! The freshest strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, apples and bananas are used for all of our chocolate dipped fruit orders.  All fruit orders come in a white box with a big bow, the perfect addition to your next shower or party!
